📤 Export your whole catalogue - every language, every variant

The product CSV export used to be a report you could look at. Now it's a file you can work with - open it in a spreadsheet, translate products, adjust prices and stock, and import it straight back.

What changed

• Every language, side by side. You get a name and description column for each language your company uses, with your default language first. Translate a whole catalogue in one pass instead of clicking through products one at a time.
• A missing translation now looks missing. Previously, a product with no English name exported with the Estonian text sitting in the English column - so a half-translated catalogue looked finished. Now an untranslated field is simply blank, and you can see exactly what's left to do.
• Variants are included. Each variant is its own row, sitting directly under its parent, with its own SKU, price, stock and barcode. The option columns carry the real option values, so you can see at a glance which row is the red XL one.
• Values you can actually read back. No more 20.00% in a number column or "Yes"/"Jah" where a checkbox belongs. Everything is plain and consistent, and the column headings stay the same whichever language you use Erpilo in - so a file exported in Estonian opens and imports the same way in English.

Cost stays protected

The purchase price column only appears for admins and owners. If a team member exports the catalogue, edits some names and imports it back, your cost data is left untouched - the column simply isn't in their file.

One thing worth knowing about Excel

Double-clicking a CSV lets Excel reformat things it shouldn't. A 13-digit barcode becomes 4.74E+12, and a SKU like 0012 loses its leading zeros.

Open the file with Data → From Text/CSV instead, and set the sku, parent_sku and barcode columns to Text. Erpilo will refuse to import a barcode that Excel has mangled rather than save the damage.
