Stock that keeps itself up to date.

Finalizing an invoice takes the goods out of stock, and a credit note can put them back. See every warehouse at a glance, count on one screen, and see on the dashboard what is running low.

Moving stock

Stock moves with your invoices

Finalizing an invoice takes the goods out of stock, and a credit note can return them. The invoice builder warns you while you type if you are invoicing more than you hold.

  • Decide whether an invoice may sell more than you hold
  • Products that went below zero are named on the invoice
  • Only one warehouse? The warehouse columns stay out of your way
  • Goods received against a purchase order go straight into stock

Stocktaking

Count it all on one screen

Pick a warehouse, type what is actually on the shelf and save the whole sheet in one go. Every difference is recorded with a reason: counted, damaged, lost, found, returned, opening balance or other.

  • Opening stock when you add a product
  • Adjust a single product straight from its card
  • Stock can also be set from a CSV import

Dashboard

See what is running low

The dashboard shows how many products you have, how many are out of stock and which are running low - along with what your stock is worth at cost.

  • Low stock means 5 or fewer by default, per company
  • Out-of-stock products are listed separately
  • Cost follows your supplier bills, oldest stock sold first (FIFO)
  • Reorder suggestions per supplier become a draft purchase order

Good to know

What stock does not do yet

  • No transfers between warehouses. Move stock with an adjustment in each warehouse.
  • No batch or serial numbers. Stock is counted per product and variant.
  • One low-stock level for the whole company. No level per product or per warehouse, and no email alerts.

Does stock update with invoices automatically?

Yes. Finalizing an invoice takes the goods out of stock, a credit note can put them back, and goods received against a purchase order go straight into stock. While you write the invoice, Erpilo warns you if a quantity is more than you have.

Can I keep stock in several warehouses?

Yes. Each warehouse has its own stock, and you also see the total across all of them. How many depends on the plan: 1 on Free, up to 3 on Start and unlimited on Growth. There are no transfers between warehouses yet - adjust the stock in both.

How does Erpilo work out the cost of goods?

Cost comes from supplier bills, and sales use up the oldest batches first (FIFO). The dashboard shows the value of your stock at cost.
